Booking Information

Booking conditions:

• To guarantee your booking, payment must be received within 3 working days of your booking. We accept 50% deposit (non-refundable) upon booking. Full payment 6 weeks before departure.

Cancellation charges:

• While we are unable to offer any direct refunds against payments made, should you need to cancel your trip for any reason, we CAN offer a future trip credit* with the following conditions:
• Note: Does NOT apply to bookings made via an outside agent (please check booking terms provided by your agent), group/ charter bookings.  Different booking/ cancellation terms apply.
• Future trip credit* of moneys paid, less administration fee:
• 1. More than 6 months before trip, then USD250/ pax admin fee.
  2. Within 3 months before trip, then USD500/ pax admin fee.
  3. Within 2 months before trip, then no trip credit UNLESS we can resell your space in such cases admin fee TBC (To Be Confirmed) upon resale.
  4. Conditions*: A new booking on another KM Blue Manta or New White Manta trip, valid for 12 months, non-transferable, not to be combined with another offer, subject to availability.  Note: If you have filed a successful insurance claim against the trip, then no trip credit is available.

Indonesian destinations:

• Prices exclude flight and accommodation on land, dive or travel insurance, marine park & harbour fees (US$200-US$250), fuel surcharge fees (US$150-US$200), equipment rental, and onboard trip extras.
• Prices include local airport & hotel transfers, all meals & accommodation on board, fruits, snacks, soft drinks, daily cabin service, dive guide, regular air tanks, belts, & weights, all dives

Fuel surcharge:

• All cruises will be liable for the following charges. The fees shown are per person and will be collected in advance of departure:
  1. Cruises including the Banda Sea/ all crossing trips: USD200/ pax.
  2. Cruises to Komodo, Raja Ampat, Sangalaki, Triton Bay, Halmahera: USD150/ pax.
  3. The above fees are subject to change at any point however we will not implement changes on a cruise that is less than 30 days from departure.

COVID-19 Booking update:

• We have now been back, operating our diving safaris in Indonesia for since May 2022, and it has been fantastic to once again be sharing diving adventures with our guests. With Indonesia now fully opened to international travellers, we are entering the ’new normal,’ post-pandemic world, that we have all so longed for after such a long time away.

Insurance:

• Both dive and travel insurance are compulsory for our trips. Our trips are NOT inclusive of any form of insurance. We strongly advise all guests to purchase both adequate dive insurance and travel insurance.

Dive Insurance:

• Dive Insurance; Dive & Travel Insurance are both compulsory for all of our trips. Please check your travel insurance policy for your diving needs. If not covered then we recommend DAN (Divers Alert Network) who provide comprehensive dive accident cover along with travel insurance via their travel assist plans. D.A.N also offer short term dive insurance coverage from 1-30 days which can be used for the duration of your trip with us. You can sign up for your trip specific coverage up to six months prior to your Manta trip departure, simply follow this link to apply.

Travel Insurance:

• Travel insurance is compulsory for our trips. Our trips are NOT inclusive of any form of insurance. White Manta Diving cannot be held responsible for any trip disruption or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control or any flight / hotel expenses.
• In the case of trip disruption or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control any compensation provided will be in the form of future trip credit ONLY.
• We strongly advise you to purchase a plan that includes Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR). Companies with such a CFAR option include: DAN travel insurance, April international, CAT 70, HTH Worldwide. World Nomad also offer flexible coverage for just the duration of your trip.

Indemnity:

• An example of the indemnity form that you will be required to sign can be found here. Please review this form and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have before commencement of the trip. Reminder; to show dive insurance, dive credentials, and complete the boat specific liability/ regional & behavioural agreement at the beginning of your trip.

Bank account:

• Payment charges: Please ensure you add on ALL transfer charges to amount owed normally by selecting ‘OUR’ in charges section. Note: Any shortfall in amount received due to set Rate of Exchange (RoE) discrepancy or unpaid transfer charges, you will be notified, and will be collected at the end of your trip.
