- For all NEW bookings, we will be raising our current fuel surcharge rate by US$100/ pax.

Flying via the Middle East (last updated 16-Mar-26):
- Update: The events in the Middle East are obviously very concerning to all, including those in our industry that rely so heavily on world travel. Currently world events have meant that the Middle East air space has been closed, impacting all international flights via this region. How long will this be? We all hope the conflicts will be resolved and the airspace open once again soon.
- What’s Next? In the meantime, if you have international flights booked via the Middle East for upcoming trips, please check with your airline carrier about rescheduling via an alternative route to ensure that you make your trip with us and your international connections home after.
- Insurance: At this stage our trips are in no way affected (except of course for the inevitable hike in oil prices) and all are due to depart as scheduled. Whilst we understand & sympathise, if you have been affected, we cannot be held responsible for events such as this, so far out of our control. Any cancellation, no show, or request to reschedule, would be treated as a cancellation. See below for our Insurance: dive & travel insurance sections for more details.
Insurance:
- Both dive and travel insurance are compulsory for our trips. Our trips are NOT inclusive of any form of insurance. We strongly advise all guests to purchase both adequate dive insurance and travel insurance.
Dive Insurance:
- Dive Insurance; Dive & Travel Insurance are both compulsory for all of our trips. Please check your travel insurance policy for your diving needs. If not covered then we recommend DAN (Divers Alert Network) who provide comprehensive dive accident cover along with travel insurance via their travel assist plans. D.A.N also offer short term dive insurance coverage from 1-30 days which can be used for the duration of your trip with us. You can sign up for your trip specific coverage up to six months prior to your Manta trip departure, simply follow this link to apply.
Travel Insurance:
- Travel insurance is compulsory for our trips. Our trips are NOT inclusive of any form of insurance. White Manta Diving cannot be held responsible for any trip disruption or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control or any flight / hotel expenses.
- In the case of trip disruption or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control any compensation provided will be in the form of future trip credit ONLY.
- We strongly advise you to purchase a plan that includes Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR). Companies with such a CFAR option include: DAN travel insurance, April international, CAT 70, HTH Worldwide. World Nomad also offer flexible coverage for just the duration of your trip.
Indemnity:
- An example of the indemnity form that you will be required to sign can be found here. Please review this form and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have before commencement of the trip. Reminder; to show dive insurance, dive credentials, and complete the boat specific liability/ regional & behavioural agreement at the beginning of your trip.
Bank account:
- Payment charges: Please ensure you add on ALL transfer charges to amount owed normally by selecting ‘OUR’ in charges section. Note: Any shortfall in amount received due to set Rate of Exchange (RoE) discrepancy or unpaid transfer charges, you will be notified, and will be collected at the end of your trip.
